Which host do I need?
Any server that speaks the Agent Host Protocol. The agent host in VS Code and ahpd are the easiest place to start. Your host’s own documentation says how to start it.
How do I add a host?
Enter its address and port, then the connection token the host gives you. ws:// is assumed if you leave the scheme out.
A host shows as offline.
Check that the host is running and that the address and port are right. A wrong token is refused at the handshake, so it also appears as a failed connection.
Can I reach my host away from my network?
Yes: put it on a mesh VPN first, then a TLS tunnel. Never forward a bare port to the internet.
Something I see on my computer is missing in the app.
The app shows what your host advertises. If the host does not offer a feature, the app does not show it.
Where is my token kept?
On your device, in the system’s secure storage. It is never sent to us.
Will it stay free?
It is free during early access. Paid plans may come later. If they do, they are announced here and in the app first, and nothing is charged unless you choose to buy it.
How do I report a problem?
Write to us with the app version, which is in Settings, and the host you connect to.
